Terms of Use

These terms apply to this website and to the templates sold or given away by Joseph Bailey, trading as Checkrow ("we", "us"). By downloading or buying a template you agree to them.

1. What you get

Our templates are digital files (spreadsheets and PDF guides). Nothing is shipped. Paid templates are sold through Gumroad, which processes payment, delivers the download and handles applicable sales tax; Gumroad's own terms also apply to your purchase.

2. Licence

When you buy or download a template, you get a personal licence to use it and to change it for yourself, your household or your own small business. You may not resell, share, upload or give away the template files (or modified copies of them) as templates, including in other marketplaces or template collections.

3. Ownership

We keep the copyright in the templates, guides, images and website content.

4. No professional advice

The templates are organising and record-keeping tools. They are not financial, legal, academic or other professional advice. You are responsible for the information you enter and the decisions you make with it.

5. Accuracy

We test every template before release, but spreadsheets depend on the program and the data entered. Templates are provided "as is". Please check important figures yourself. If you find a mistake in a template, tell us and we'll fix it.

6. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about a template is limited to the amount you paid for it, which you can get back under our refund policy. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

7. Refunds

If a template doesn't work for you, email checkrow@mail.grokbot.com within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, no questions asked. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
